Directed by Sophia Coppola, Lost in Translation is about two Americans who meet half way around the world, and connect in a way that surprises them both. In his first dramatic role, Bill Murray stars opposite Scarlett Johanson. Their characters find themselves in an unconventional relationship. They do not necessarily make a love connection, but rather make a human connection.
It is about making a connection with someone when you least expect it, with someone you wouldn't have thought. It is an incredibly compelling film. The script is amazing, the acting is some of the best I've seen, and the cinematography is perfect for the story. This movie made me want to visit Tokyo!
