In his first dramatic role, Bill Murray stars opposite Scarlett Johanson. Their characters find themselves in an unconventional relationship. They do not necessarily make a love connection, but rather make a human connection. It is about making a connection with someone when you least expect it, with someone you wouldn't have thought. It is an incredibly compelling film. The script is amazing, the acting is some of the best I've seen, and the cinematography is perfect for the story. The writing is incredible. It is best described as a dark comedy - it had me laughing out loud. Brilliantly weaved amongst comedic moments, is a wonderfully touching story about family. I urge everyone to check out this film. Although it has an ensemble cast, the movie centers around the career of a lobbyist for a large cigarette company. It is spectacularly funny and yet disturbing at the same time. If you like to debate, or you like to listen to debates, this film is for you. It certainly taught me a few things about how to argue a point well. The movie will no doubt give you a few things to think about, regarding some highly controversial issues receiving attention in current society.
