So You Don't Have Time To Volunteer or Help Others?

Most of us feel we are too busy to help others. Here is a simple way you can give over 1 cup of food each day to starving person.

Visit The Hunger Site and click on the button that says, "Help Feed The Hungry". By doing this, you will be taken to a page which thanks you for your donation of over 1 cup of food.

How did your click magically donate on cup of food? Site sponsors donated that food and 100% of collected revenue from site sponsorships goes to hunger relief efforts. You are never obligated to buy anything from a site sponsor nor do you have to visit any other site, your one click per day donates one cup of food.

A sad statistic from the hunger site: about 24,000 people die every day from hunger or hunger-related causes which amounts to 1 person every 3.6 seconds.

The Hunger Site is part of a family of sites that includes The Animal Rescue Site, The Child Health Site, The Literacy Site, The Rain Forest Site, The Breast Cancer Site. You can also support these causes with one click a day.

If you are too busy to volunteer you can still help others my making The Hunger Site your homepage a

Be Regular When Volunteering

I found one of the key elements to volunteering for an extending period of time was doing so on a regular basis.

If a few weeks passed and I had not gone in to volunteer, the whole process became more difficult. I did not feel as comfortable with my duties, others people may have forgotten about me (or new people might be unfamiliar with me), and just more overall effort was required to pick up where things left off. An analogy is not going to the gym for 2 months and then trying to go back. It is hard and no fun at all.

When volunteering, I think it is important to go in on a regular basis. Try missing one week at the most, when I missed more than two weeks, that is when things became difficult for me. And of course, the organization or cause that you are helping will be very happy to see you there each week!
