Thanksgiving Treats For Kids
shared by Natalie
Have you ever tried planning a dinner menu that suits both children and adults? Well, I have. I am cooking Thanksgiving dinner this weekend for my family. I had the menu all planned out, including all the traditional items: turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, stuffing, and pumpkin pie!

The only dilemma - my niece and nephew don't like pumpkin pie. If you have children coming for dinner and you are trying to think of a dessert they would like, try making festive cupcakes. Make whatever flavour cupcakes you wish, then decorate them will lots of icing, some chocolate shavings, and festive decorations to suit the occassion. For thanksgiving, I was able to find some small plastic pumpkins and plastic leaves at the craft store, so I put those on the top of the cupcakes. Not only are they fun to look at, they are also fun to eat! The children at your dinner are sure to enjoy.
